I bet with your talent and skill, you could make people see the body fresh and new again, if you had an interest in doing so. Thank you for the warm welcome!
Thank you very much for following my blog, Urban Shutterbug, I very much appreciate that. And if you’re just starting out blogging – I wish you luck! Keep hanging on in there! Adrian
Cybele, thank you very much, and thank you for following my blog too – and I’m very much looking forward to seeing more of your images, they have a wonderful magic. Adrian 🙂
Hi Adrian, I’m a friend of Herman van Bon. I live in Bristol & only found Cowhill thanks to his directions! Would love to be in touch. You have my email if you’d like to say hi!
Bob, thank you very much – and thank you too for following my blog! I hope you will enjoy my forthcoming pictures. The photography on your blog is excellent – that handful of radishes really caught my eye on Freshly Pressed, and your shot of the expectant mother is full of character. Adrian
Dear Adrian
i came across your details on Google. I used to live and work in Magadi in the ’60s, and I have now been asked to give a talk (FOC!) to my local U3A group where I now live – in Tiverton, Devon.. I am seeking any suitable images to enliven my talk. I have a few old slides but they have now faded and are not very exciting!
Any help you can provide would be much appreciated – I would be happy to acknowledge your copyright of any of your images I might use. I particularly like your Archive 6 (pink landscape), but some of your other shots of L Magadi are v good too!
Kind regards
Gordon Davies (now long retired in the UK and nearing 80 years of age!).
Your message made me do a double take as I knew a Gordon Davies long, long ago but I don’t think it was you – he was Assistant Curator of the museum in Weston-super-Mare.
Anyway, good to hear from you – and I’m in U3a too, here in Bristol. I can probably help you out.
Practicalities: rather than corresponding via Comments on my blog, it’ll be better to use my email, which should appear when you read this reply to your comment – failing that, please send me your email on another comment.
Second, I assume you’re asking me to email digital images to you, for use on a digital projector – is that right? You aren’t asking me to send you actual colour slides are you, as I would never loan the original slides out.
Wow! Such incredible shots. I am a big fan of your black and white work!
(Just a note…. the comments on this page are so long it makes the site a little hard to read! I’m not sure if there is a way to minimize the number of comments shown on your home page. Just a thought!)
Graham, thank you very much for your good words – and its always good to meet another Nikon user! Black and white is close to my heart, and I especially like using Nik Software’s Silver Efex Pro 2 software to produce it.
Thank you for your comment on the numbers of comments on my home page, that’s really very useful to know – I had no knowledge of this effect. And, amazingly (for me, anyway!), I’ve been able to do something about it via Settings – Discussion, such that these comments are now on three pages – and I may make that 4. That really is very useful to know. Adrian
Hahaha! >>> as in Breakfast = “The Life Force” or “The Reason I Get Up In The Mornings”? Well it just might be! Tho its a good job I don’t eat as many of these great delicacies as I feel like eating, or my arms wouldn’t reach the keyboard!
Thank you for your comments, Steveo, they’re good to hear. And I hope you’re having a very good Christmas! Adrian
I can see the beauty in your work it comes in many forms. From people to animals and through nature . It all speaks to my creative eye. Thank you for sharing.
Hate to disappoint you, my friend, but the images on this front page have remained unchanged for 2+ years – you might not have seen some of them, because (maybe …) some of them have not actually appeared on posts.
I ought to do more with this front page but never get around to it – it just remains “out front” as an eye / attention catcher. And maybe an interesting point – more of the images here derive from my film days than were taken digitally. A
Some great and very varied images there Adrian, thanks for adding my work and following my blog. You can check out some more my images here: http://longwhitecloudphotography.com/
Thank you for the like on my blog! I was able to track back to your blog – it is magnificent! I have looked through a hand-full of pictures. You have quite the artistic eye.
Good to hear from you, Dennis, and thanks very much for your good words and for following my blog! Your pictures of bees are good. I look through WordPress’s Freshly Pressed most days – hope I see more of your work. Adrian 🙂
