Amazing collection! Adrian, you are a versatile and talented photographer. I have to say the black and white photos of the trees are my favourites. Glad we connected 🙂
Yes, found dead, I think in a bunch of bananas if I remember correctly, in Nairobi, Kenya, on the 1970s. I’d thought it was a Solifugid, but a spider expert thought otherwise.
Hi Adrian, This collection is fantastic and a full range of your artistic talent from abstracts to portraits to nature. The Villagers portrait, the monochrome silhouette of the tree and the close-up of the Lobelia are a few highlights for me in this great set.
Hello, Jane, thank you for your good words! This front page to my blog has remained unchanged since the blog started nearly 7 years ago – and an interesting point may be that most if not all of these images were captured on film – how time flies! Thank you again. Adrian 🙂
Mary, thank you very much, glad my pictures get to you. I also like words and playing with them – along with communicating with other bloggers, creating images and then writing about are the main pleasures I derive from blogging. Adrian 🙂

The thongs would imply that this is some sort of a spider, but I mus admit I’ve never seen anything quite like this one?! African specimen?

Remarkable photos. I particularly like the unique angle of the duck and the extreme spider close up.
