The thongs would imply that this is some sort of a spider, but I mus admit I’ve never seen anything quite like this one?! African specimen?

Yes, found dead, I think in a bunch of bananas if I remember correctly, in Nairobi, Kenya, on the 1970s. I’d thought it was a Solifugid, but a spider expert thought otherwise.

Hi Adrian, This collection is fantastic and a full range of your artistic talent from abstracts to portraits to nature. The Villagers portrait, the monochrome silhouette of the tree and the close-up of the Lobelia are a few highlights for me in this great set.
