The early mornings darken, the light becomes softer and more attractive, and I start to anticipate the first thin mists and slight but certain chills of autumn.

Yes – a wonderful time of year! We awoke to thick mist this morning; lovely!!

I like the alien sentinel here watching another of his planet’s inhabitants begin the descent to land 🙂
