Lovely! I’m glad it just is what it is and doesn’t aspire to be more. “Spare me the visitor’s centers” – yes!

Yes, thanks, my friend, I know just what you mean about it not aspiring to be more. Oh ****, visitors’ centers >>> I like to get outdoors and enjoy the countryside / natural world, however bland it may turn out to be, for myself, I don’t want go into some center where I’m seeing / experiencing it all at second hand!

Is it as magical as your photos make it seem? ā¤ļø

Let me be honest with you, my dear friend – often it is not magical at all as it is, after all, just very simple and in places quite rough pastureland, cut by water-filled ditches; and with farm rubbish here and there.
But if the light conditions are right – for me for example on some (but not all) early mornings, in good or bad weather – then it is truly beautiful and magical, when seen with the eye or the lens, and these are the moments that I try to capture via my lens(es). Sometimes, the things seen through the viewfinder take my breath away.
But it is a very simple and uncontrived place – LOL!!! no public toilets, or “nature walks” or (thank heavens!!!) visitor centers (oh spare me the visitor centers!!!), at least not in the places I visit. It can easily appear unimpressive but, when I’m there, if I can put it this way, I feel that there is space, and that I can breathe. ATP xxxXXX!!!

This is really magnificent, Adrian. The golden light probably didn’t last very long, but there’s a timeless quality to it that you have captured and preserved so well. You take me there.
