A lovely atmosphere, Adrian. The smoke adds a perfect touch of reality.

    • Adrian Lewis says:

Thank you, Lynn >>> yes the smoke is an important part of this, as are the faint reflections in the windows. Greta Thunberg spoke to, and attended a rally by, striking school kids in Bristol yesterday; I’m semi laid up with leg pains still and so wasn’t there, but a friend and her daughter were there, and said the whole thing was intensely inspirational. ๐Ÿ™‚

That orange glow is very pretty but I also like the reflections in the windows and the smoke coming from the chimneys – although it seems that won’t be allowed pretty soon.

Another storm on the way for the weekend: Storm Jorge named by the Spanish weather system even though the storm is centred over the UK! Seems as if there is a competition to get the name in first ๐Ÿ™‚

    • Adrian Lewis says:

Yes, for me also the reflections in the windows and the smoke coming from the chimneys are two of the things that bring the image alive. I’m still down with leg trouble, so I’ll just be sitting out the storm indoors! ๐Ÿ™‚

Sorry to hear about the leg trouble. I hope it improves quickly for you. I had excruciating shoulder and upper back pain a few days ago – sorted with a short course of ibuprofen. Think it was a loaded backpack that did it ๐Ÿ™‚
