Love the eyes of the house looking above and thinking: “I hope the repaired tile holds” 🙂 Well seen, my friend!

I like this very much Adrian. The composition is excellent and very effective but I feel like I just want to pull that bottom left corner down a little bit which would just make the windows level.. I am distracted by it being unlevel. sorry

LOL! >>> apologies for distracting you, Helen!!! Never has my morti been so fied!!! 🙂 But I know exactly what you mean and, when I was processing the shot, I think it was a choice between having the roof level or the windows >>> I think this is an effect of tilting the TG-5’s very wide angle lens upwards. A 🙂

hahaha love this response.. I think your analysis of cause is correct. Am I right in thinking that you don’t use photoshop at all?

Yes, that’s right >>> in pursuit of The Simple Life, I don’t use Photoshop (although I do have it) – I just use Lightroom, which fits the way I work absolutely perfectly, and then also Silver Efex Pro 2 for mono (although Lightroom is also good in that format), and sometimes Color Efex Pro 4; LOL! and also Capture NX2 sometimes – although now ancient it is still very good at some awkward things! A 🙂
