With Paula in St Nicholas Market: a flight of battered yellow stairs lead down to a purple carpet.  Battered stairs?  Yes, well used, leading to a pub!

Technique: Z 6 with 24-120 Nikkor lens used (by mistake!) in DX (= APS-C) format to give 63mm – going to DX format was not necessary as 63mm us within the 24-120 range of the lens ; 1600 ISO; Lightroom, using the Camera Vivid v2 picture control; rotated; beside St Nicholas Market, Bristol; 3 June 2019.

When I saw this in the reader I thought the stairs on the left were a shimmering curtain! Interesting angles, plays on perspective, and colours!

Yes, shimmering, I think that describes me rather well! Oh, the picture, you’re talking about the picture …. 😉 …..

LOL! >>> its been rotated of course, 90 degrees clockwise, I was playing around with it, and as soon as I saw this it got to me. Then it was a question of darkening some of the top, bottom and right. Glad it gets to you! A 🙂
