OUTER SUBURBS 104 – PARADISE REVISITED

.
Awhile back, I posted a picture of this tree on a misty autumn morning – and instantly thought the resulting very simple scene a portrayal of Paradise.  Several of you agreed.

Happily, this tree is often along the routes of the long walks that I take through Bristol’s outer suburbs, and often I see it daily.

And so to a misty morning in spring, and it being resplendent in its flowers.  Paradise revisited?  Well its got my vote.

Lovely peaceful scene. Looking pastwards, many many moons ago, before age and all its trappings caught up with me, I can imagine myself sitting on the grass, with my back propped against the tree sheltering from any strong sunshine which sought out my auburn hair and attempted to scorch the accompanying fair skin. 😊 😊 😊

I’m doing great thanks, Adrian! Just so busy… Loving having a long weekend. 😊 And none of us are getting younger! Time does shoot by doesn’t it. Happy eight years, wow!

Does your mention of a long weekend mean you’re still working? I have no idea of your age. I’m heading towards 70 and have been retired 6 years now >>> LOL! and my only comment about retirement is that I can recommend it more than completely!!! However aches and pains do appear >>> and I’m no longer so willing to drop down onto my knees to get a good picture – LOL! always wondering whether I’ll actually make it up again!!! 😀

  3. Paradise indeed. Lovely photograph, Adrian. I somehow missed the autumn version, so I’m glad you included the link to that equally beautiful photograph.

Love the quiet, foggy mood of this image, Adrian, and the celebration of spring with this gorgeous flowering tree. 🙂
