If you want to be out there on the cold street in the early morning, click onto the picture to open another version in a separate window and click onto that image to enlarge it further.  On the other hand, you may find cold, early morning streets of only limited appeal, and I can live with that … 🙂

Walking the winter streets, just around dawn.  Streetlights and shadows, and – at the day’s start – the first lights coming on in the houses.

And dark it was – even at 6,400 ISO, the little camera was working at 1/60th second, wide open at f2.

      Mathias, thank you – and thank you too for all these comments and likes. Yes, the frame of the car’s windows caught my eye too, and I made sure that it wasn’t engulfed by shadow. A good time of day to be out and about – as long as its not raining!!! A 🙂

      Haha!!! not your time of day!!! Yes, I have to say that this Olympus TG-5 camera is a bit of a gem – very capable in even difficult conditions (tho it lacks a viewfinder), and so small and light that you hardly know you’re carrying it. Its price is dropping now in at least some outlets, and maybe it will soon be replaced/upgraded. I’m really very impressed with it, as a “camera that I can take anywhere / always carry”. 🙂

      Thanks, Harrie! This little camera working at 6,400 ISO is never going to give perfect images, even with Lightroom’s grain reduction, but the grainy look’s worked out ok here. A 🙂
