Early morning on the main road in from the south.

To me, this image has a distinctly hard, cold, ruthless feel, to me there is almost a soulless malevolence here.  Thinking back to the Terminator films, is this The Rise Of The Machines???

I like the foreshortening that happens – it’s perfect for the subject and composition.

Wow, what a lot of Comments this Sunday morning!!! >>> EXTREMELY good to get them!!! Glad you like the pic – the numbers of shots I take at around 300mm are vast, and this is a crop so the effect is increased – I’m a great fan of Terminator 2, and this brings it to mind. Wonderful to hear about your journey to the south. A 🙂

Great threesome in this otherwise telling shot of going to work in your thousands : horrid smells, bumper to bumper traffic..enough to give anyone a nervous breakdown. Well shot.

Yes, I see what you mean by soulless.
