    Love this – especially the way you’ve captured the light and colours. I’ve been trying to capture the beautiful and interesting architecture along the very narrow streets of Carmarthen and Aberystwyth, and haven’t been completely happy with the results. This is the kind of image I’m trying for – and which escapes me!

      Thank you, M! Narrow streets sound good – personally, if I can get it, I’m looking for low angle light glancing along / parallel to building fronts / facades; spot metering, often for highlights; and a disregard for correct horizontals/verticals, just going for what looks good. A

        Thank you for the tips – although I don’t think my camera does spot metering (and I’m not sure I know what it is if it did 🙂 ). I will have to try and visit those places on a quiet Sunday (although there’s not many places that are quiet on a Sunday any more).
