About Adrian Lewis
Photographer working in monochrome, colour and combinations of the two - with a great liking for all sorts of images, including Minimalism, landscapes, abstracts, soft colour, people, movement, nature - I like to be adventurous in my photography, trying new ideas and working in many genres. And I'm fond of Full English Breakfasts and Duvel golden ale, though not necessarily together.

  1. Great image, I really like the colours and the film simulation works so well 🙂

  2. Great picture. Looking at your pictures really is making me think about giving it a go

Matt, thank you. I see from your blog that you have a serious illness and, from what you say here, maybe you’re thinking about using photography as a distraction or form of therapy. I can thoroughly recommend it, I’ve heard of many people with various medical conditions that have found photography therapeutic – and your WP blog is an ideal place to publish your images you might want to put out to a wide audience. • Thank you Adrian . I am thinking of it yes. I need to focus on something fresh. I can see why it is so therapeutic. I will certainly look into it deeper now. Matt

Yes, do consider it. To add a bit more, as well as being a highly creative thing, photography can be just how much or how little you want to make of it – it can handle any subject, any genre, at any depth from just a few pics for your own enjoyment to creating a book or a high quality website. My pictures are intended (in the main) to be visually attractive, but there are other genres where this need not be the case, eg those showing humour, or telling stories, or portraying lifestyles etc etc. Photography really can be anything you want to make it.

If you do try your hand at photography and have any questions or points you would like to discuss, I’m always happy to try to provide hints/answers! A

Due to the reflections it has become an artistic and interesting photo. Nicely seen.

This blog has two pleasures for me - creating the images and hearing from you - so get your thoughts out to the world!
