One walks away from the light, perhaps in more than one sense, seeming distracted, apprehensive even.
The other walks into the light, but with head bowed against a harsh radiance which, at this early hour, serves only to dazzle the eyes rather than offer any warmth or cheer.

Well, its a moment in time, and I’ve said that he looks distracted – but then weren’t we all on our way into work? Another interpretation might be “I refuse to look at the (no longer so) fat git with the camera and the train driver’s hat!”. 🙂

Paula, my friend, thank you for your good words. My question, I suppose, is whether others will like them too – although whether others like them or not cannot, in my mind, have any bearing on whether or not I post further images in this vein. Such images are “up your street” (as they would probably have been up Malin’s) – but are they up others’ too??? We shall see. Adrian xxx
