Car with a yellow roof, Marsh Street, Bristol; 9 Sept 2016.

A certainly smart vehicle, in the older meaning of the adjective, inert and really quite beautiful in the shadows behind a big hotel.

X-T1 with 55-200 Fujinon lens at 305mm (equiv); 3200 ISO; image rotated clockwise.

About Adrian Lewis
Photographer working in monochrome, colour and combinations of the two - with a great liking for all sorts of images, including Minimalism, landscapes, abstracts, soft colour, people, movement, nature - I like to be adventurous in my photography, trying new ideas and working in many genres. And I'm fond of Full English Breakfasts and Duvel golden ale, though not necessarily together.

This one really shines… I can’t help wondering though, when you turned the car? Did gravity pin the passengers to their seats with a hint of g-force, or dangle them by their seatbelts with flailing arms and legs? 🙂

  2. Interesting indeed… you have managed to make a quite simple motif to look like something from the future! Great work as always.
