Another look in through the windows of this restaurant, the first look being here; 14 July 2016.

In this case, something easier to compose with, albeit that hard reality may be in short supply.

And that flower in the shadows at top right is not looking at you.

There is a third restaurant interior here.

About Adrian Lewis
Photographer working in monochrome, colour and combinations of the two - with a great liking for all sorts of images, including Minimalism, landscapes, abstracts, soft colour, people, movement, nature - I like to be adventurous in my photography, trying new ideas and working in many genres. And I'm fond of Full English Breakfasts and Duvel golden ale, though not necessarily together.

Another beauty – I really like the band of light that falls across that second glass.

  2. Of course it’s looking at me! Why wouldn’t it! 😉

Do you ever go into these restaurants and order up one of those fine glasses sparsely poured with some fine wine and a nice cheese plate to go with it, or do you stay outside and just drool all over the back of your camera?

    • Adrian Lewis says:

Well I did trade up to a drool-proof back for the X-T1, mainly because, after one look at me, the camera shop assistant earnestly recommended that I do so. But these pictured restaurants are fashionable and thus a little pricey and, never being one to favour style over substance, I usually go a little more down market, to restaurants that will actually let me in through the door, or to street stalls that don’t have doors – and on Friday I ended up in a very nice place called the Cosy Club, which did me a treat! >>> including Black Pudding!!!

This blog has two pleasures for me - creating the images and hearing from you - so get your thoughts out to the world!
