The drove heading south from the Magic Carpark; Tadham Moor, 24 June 2016.

Droves are tracks (sometimes now tarmacked) made between fields, so that farmers have access to their land without having to cross other farmers’ property.

This picture was taken near that shown in the recent Hard Road post.  This image has been given different treatment, largely due to the use of a split tone to introduce some (false) colour into the black, grey and white.

X-T1 with 15-36 Fujinon at 15mm (equiv); 800 ISO; Lightroom; Silver Efex Pro 2, starting at the Pinhole preset and adding a split tone.

It’s fun to read the details of the processing above – but I have to say, you started with a very nice photograph. That does help! 😉

Yes it does >>> thank you! I don’t want to get into a series of shots that are all the same, but I must say that getting down very low with the 15mm wide angle does open up many possibilities. A

Paula, thank you – in case this is of use, the technique for the split toning is to use SEP2’s number 3 tone, then raise Silver Toning to 100%, reduce Paper Toning to 0%, and adjust Balance to taste. Adrian
