CHEW LAKE 10 – MIST LIFTING, HERONS GREEN 2

Mist rising, Herons Green 2
.
Getting up into the air, Herons Green, Chew Valley Lake, near Bristol; 6 Apr 2015.

Sun rising, mists turning golden, and two geese claw their way heavily up into the air, heading east.

An unplanned shot, grabbed during the moment, and with a shutter speed of 1/320 sec just allowing the blurring of the frantically flailing wingtips.

Minimalism, a distinct lack of detail, with Color Efex Pro 4 used only to add a very thin, dark border.

D700 with 70-300 Nikkor at 300mm; 200 ISO; Color Efex Pro 4.
