    • Its not gliding, Nelson >>> I’ve just been fortunate in catching the wings in the same plane as the body, and 1/400th second has frozen it. I never use motor drive because it gives the camera less time to achieve focus between shots – instead I keep focus on the subject and pump away on the shutter button, which achieves more in focus results. The shot after this shows the wings down below the body, ie near the bottom of the downstroke. Thanks, Adrian.
