Thank you, Gem, I’m glad you understand. I remember returning to England from Kenya in 1989, and being appalled by this country’s often sombre hues. But I’ve grown to appreciate (or maybe, to appreciate once again) England’s weather and landscapes in all their tonalities and seasons – and being down at Tealham in that fog was just wonderful – once I’d found out where I was, that is!
