CORNWALL 76 – W119

mmm

.
Beside Camborne’s main street; 9 Oct 2013.

I had an initial thought about using mono here, but preferred to stick with the overall griminess and tarnish.  I have no idea what W119 is or was – unless its the pipe!

The orange sign obviously stands out, but the bright metal strut to the left is also a highlight amongst all this duller light and shadow.

There were a lot of things to photograph in Camborne’s main street – unless of course that was just the mood I happened to be in that day – but I recommend a walk there if you find yourself in this town.

D800 with 70-300 Nikkor at 300mm; 400 ISO.

  1. Good that you decided to not do this one in mono.
I really like the colour in the “W119” too, it’s an image that needs to be in colour.
I have no idea the meaning of the numbers either. 🙂

A nice detail and very well seen, Adrian.
