Footpath in a Lyme Regis lane; 3 Nov 2004.

The well worn slabs in the centre of this path are a delight, eloquent of the numbers of feet treading here.  The light is at a sufficiently low angle to give these slabs some relief and substance without causing their shadows to impinge upon their neighbours.  The whole thing is form, shape and texture, side lit.

OM-4 with 50mm Zuiko; Fuji Provia 400 colour slide rated at 1600 ISO.

  1. Definitely a path well-trodden. Fascinating forms and textures, and I really like your choice of composition with the two triangles outside the path proper at lower left and upper right and the wonderful earth-tones in the pebbles.

This blog has two pleasures for me - creating the images and hearing from you - so get your thoughts out to the world!
